Hello
I got a strange problem.
For whatever reason, I have difficulties to display some characters in my PowerLanguage editor.
The backslash "\" is accessible in a Notebook or Word editor using either the key on my keyboard or with ALT 92.
Strangely, when working in the Powerlanguage Editor, the same keyboard key does not display the backslash and when using the ALT 92 it return character: 褌
I had a similar problem with ">" few months ago. I resolved it by using a French Canadian Keyboard driver.
I have seen this problem only when using MC editor. I don't have enough hair left on my head, so I would prefer to solution this before loosing more

Re: Keyboard problem: Wrong characters using ALT 92 = 褌
Hello TJ
OS: French Windows 7 pro 64
Regional language: French Canadian
Keyboard: Microsoft Digital Media Pro. Drivers updated.
I only see the problem using MC editor. Probably that they didn't code to access other keyboard driver definition.
For the moment, I overpass the problem by a cut and paste of the character from a NotePad text to MC editor. Not a nice way to do, but, as mentionned, it help to preserve my hear integrity....
Have a great day and a relaxing 4' July if your in the States.

Re: Keyboard problem: Wrong characters using ALT 92 = 褌
I can confirm this 'problem' Martin, I've experienced it when trying to add an Euro sign (Alt 0128); gives a € in other text programs, but a 㽀 in the PowerLanguage Editor.
OS: Dutch Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
Regional language: Windows: Dutch, keyboard set to 'United States - International'.
Keyboard: USB Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000.
Edit:
It's a default QWERTY keyboard by the way.
Regards,
Josh

I have created a request in the Project Management \ report an issue. If you have the same problem, please vote for it.

No need to vote for bugs - if we can reproduce it, it will be fixed. This issue has been confirmed and will be fixed in RC.

Has this been fixed? I still cannot insert an euro sign in the PowerLanguage Editor, for example.
If I copy/past the following symbols into the editor:
I get the following:
(Copying regular text goes fine, so it does not seem to be a clipboard issue).
Using MultiCharts64 Version 8.8 Release (Build 8967).
If I copy/past the following symbols into the editor:
Code: Select all
€

¥

Any update on this? Even a backtick (`) doesn't work in the PowerLanguage Editor.

Hello JoshM,
This is something that has not been yet prioritized, but we will definitely get back to it when time permits. Please make sure you have voted for the corresponding PM entry so that we can track the demand for this improvement.
