If you have an ASCII file with data, there are two ways to use it in MultiCharts: ASCII Mapping and ASCII Import.
Comparison chart below will help you to choose the method to suit your needs:

Data is not imported into the database. |
Data is imported into the database. |
If your file was modified, the data on charts will update accordingly. |
If your file was modified, you’ll need to import it again to update the values in the database. |
It’s possible to map multiple symbols at the same time. |
Data for each symbol should be imported separately. |
