General

Refer to the description of the types and breakdowns on the page devoted to the description of Volume Profile per se.

Type: Tick Count, Total Volume, Sell x Buy Volume, Delta, Buy vs Sell Volume.
Breakdown by: Up vs Down Tick Delta, Ask vs Bid Traded Delta. Only tick data can be used for “Ask vs Bid Traded Delta”.
Build from: Ticks, Minutes, Days. “Build from” cannot be a higher resolution than your chart.
Ticks per row: number of minimum price increments (ticks) included in each Volume Profile row (1 tick = Price Scale * Min Movement).

Time

Allows for changing the Start and End timestamps for the Volume Profile drawing.

Style

The style of the following Volume Profile components can be configured: volume bar color, up OC, down OC, POC, value area, display text, outline, volume range, developing POC, developing VA, naked POC and naked VA.

Appearance

Always show entire number: turns off K and M abbreviations.
Display above price bars: puts volume profile in front and the bars in the background. By default the volume profile is in the background.
Alignment: displays the volume profile along the right or left border.
Transparency: regulates the transparency of the volume profile. Though the Volume Profile transparency can be set to 0%, one will still be able to see the bars of the symbol data series. That is because by default Volume Profile is shown in the background and the data series stays on the foreground.
Width: regulates the width of the volume profile drawn on the selected time period.
Value area: determines the area of the most traded volume of the profile.
