To connect MultiCharts to BitMEX, it is necessary to receive an API Key at their website

Historical bars are provided for tick, minute, and daily data.
History is provided only for Trades.
Depth-of-Market data is available.

To set up BitMEX data feed connection:

1. In the QuoteManager main menu select Tools -> Data Sources-> select BitMEX and click the Settings button. The BitMEX Settings window is open.
2. Main tab:
Connectivity section
  • Check Use heartbeats for connection loss detection to automatically restore the connection to BitMEX server in case of temporary connection loss.
  • Use Show Error pop-up alert to receive alerts.
3. Requests tab:
  • Check Open Interest for futures to increase the frequency of requests based on the Once every X seconds value.
Note: Increasing the frequency may lead to exceeding the BitMEX request limit.

Also, make sure that you set up BitMEX Broker Profile for trading and BitMEX Broker Plug-in for auto-trading.
