To reproduce the issue you just leave your workspaces working, and when the error appears in IB TWS, you face the memory leakage in MultiCharts, correct? If you perform other steps please let us know.

Allow workspace to be marked read-only

It would be very handy to be able to mark a workspace as read-only to guard against accidental movements or actions.

When modifying, you just turn it off, modify it, then turn it back on, and save.

Countless times I accidentally drag a line and mess up scaling which is tedious to go back and fix.

At the moment we are not developing the 64bit version. Could I ask why it is so important for you to have 64version? The principal advantage is that the 64 bit instruction set has double the number of processor registers which allows faster program execution. The secondary advantages are: 1 Better ...

Hello, The way MultiCharts works with multiple cores (which has been proved by our tests) is that every chart window uses a different thread which is assigned to one of the cores. We suggest to run the following test. Create a chart and apply many indicators to ensure a large workload for CPU. Then...

[Advanced Topic] Getting started with DLL

What is the best and supported way to create DLL? The MC help points to: https://www.TS.com/support/books/pdf/easylanguage_extension_sdk.pdf for documentation on how to build extensions. This documentation talks about tskit.dll as the way to build DLLs but only elkit.dll is located in the MC program...

I notice with two cores and the current beta (2.1.928.1050) that computation seems to depend on MCActivex.exe. With two MC instances with about 3 workspaces each, I find that only 50% of the CPU gets used (one core) and all the time is spent in MCActiveX.exe. Any way to break that up so that MCActiv...

My guess is that you need to wait for ORCAL to stop or start before running more instances of MC.

Use the task manager (I used process explorer and sort by company) to see that ORCAL is shut down (and all TS and MC processes). Then run MC.

It takes some time for those to exit.

Would that have the effect of caching the historical data and speed up people's startup time?

Thanks.

Offline use with TS

I was preparing to be offline (no Internet access) for a week and wanted to have the ability to look at some studies in MC.

Unfortunately, when I choose "offline data mode" in preferences and restart, it just says "No data".

Is there a trick out there that can make this work?

Add the ability to select all drawing objects so they can be deleted.

How about allowing QuoteManager to let you clear the cache for more than one symbol at a time? At the moment, if you select a range of symbols, the "clear cache" selection is disabled. In addition, when you are trying to debug data gaps and inconsistencies, it is useful to have a "clear cache for al...

One bug that still seems to be there on Vista 64 bit can be reproduced as follows:

Bring up the Quote Manager.
Right-Click on a TS symbol.
Notice that the pop-up doesn't display all the selections.
As you move your mouse up and down, the selection display will fill in.
