In the locked topic informing us there is still ETA on a new ZenFire API Henry said "As a workaround you can use CQG instead of Zen-Fire. Also we suggest to contact your broker and have them inform you about your options."
I contacted my broker, Mirus, and was given this responses:
Thank you for your inquiry. We have the following solutions available for clients clearing through Dorman.
• N*T on Continuum
• S*C on T4
• M*D Trader on CQG
• I*E Trader on CQG or T4
and.......
Hello Geoff,
We currently do not support the MultiCharts platform, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Mirus Support
From what I can find via Google, Continuum is a branding of CQG, does it work with Multicharts?
I am still confused as to if there is anyway I can continue to trade with Multicharts and the process at Mirus involves "converting" my account which means it will not be easy to switch back if ZenFire ever comes back to life.
Zenfire alternatives
Re: Zenfire alternatives
Thanks, yeah OK Zenfire is done.Zenfire is done. Switch brokers. Everyone else did/is
Can anyone comment on CQG and Continuum and whether it works with Multicharts. Mirus offers other software with CQG and Multicharts supports CQG so I don't understand why they say they no longer support Multicharts. Also is what i found on other forums saying that CQG and Continuum are the same thing true?
I'm just trying to stay with Multicharts and not switch my IB and clearing firm.

Re: Zenfire alternatives
CQG has multiple APIs. Continuum is one of them. It is not currently supported in MultiCharts.
"Regular" CQG API is supported in MultiCharts.

Re: Zenfire alternatives
Thank you for the clarification on Continuum. As Mirus/Dorman offer other platforms on CQG I am still baffled as to why they tell me they don't currently support MultiCharts. AMP has accepted my application and as soon as my funds are transferred I can trade again.CQG has multiple APIs. Continuum is one of them. It is not currently supported in MultiCharts.
"Regular" CQG API is supported in MultiCharts.

I am a client of Mirus Futures. I have faced the Zenfire issue as well. The cornerstone was the Rithmic technology used by Zenfire.
Now I am using Rithmic through Mirus futures, my clearer is Dorman.
