MC9 64 beta 1
Multichart 1 is optimizing with a lower priority. This has been going on for 59h in total 128h
Multicharts 2 is just an open chart with some indicator (normal priority)
Mutlicharts 3 (normal priority) I accidentally opened a scanner with 112 stocks and the message came up what said that the ticker limit has been reached. Looking at the ticker of TWD (Trader workstation diagnostic) I see that 101 ticker has been used. So I closed the scanner BUT QM did not disconnect the ticker.
The message is still coming up. Closed and opend the TWS again and QM connected the 101 ticker again to TWS without MC 3 open. Muticharts 3 is already closed and Multicharts 1 is using asci map. Multicharts 2 is using Freequotes. I should not have any ticker used on TWS.
How can i tell multicharts to reset the ticker to TWS without closing Multicharts 1 and 2 (or at leased 1 since it is optimizing for a while now)

Hello siscop,
Please make that "Utilization of cache for real-time price data" option in Quote manager->Tools->Data sources->IB->Settings is disabled.

Re: Multicharts IB Ticker problem
I did and nothing changed.
Do I have to restart MC so it will take the change? That is something I would like to avoid.
I did press refresh

Re: Multicharts IB Ticker problem
siscop, a restart is required to make this setting come into effect. There is no way around that.
