Hi, everyone. I am looking for VPS recommendations. The plan is to install MC and run automated trading. The speed is not essential, as I will be mostly trading 15 minute bars or higher, and reliability is the main factor.
Available services vary greatly in price and specs. I understand for MC I need at least 4 GB of RAM. Not sure how many cores (I am guessing the more the better).
Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Hello small dog,
You will find the recommended tech specs for different set ups on our web site.
The version of the VPS should correspond to the supported Windows OS versions.

The price is not low but the service is really solid. There's a guy Marko who will take care of you.
I'm running one strategy one minute bars across five markets. I also use the server for backtesting.
When I started I used the $50 "Trader VPS" option which handled the load I was demanding pretty well. I eventually upgraded because I was constantly running out of CPU space when backtesting and things were just slow. I'm now on the "Daytrader VPS" option.
I would recommend you start with the Trader option and if you need to scale up it's really easy. I did it last weekend and it took about 5 minutes and was mostly seamless aside minor inconveniences.
