Hello,
Please adjust the time & volume displayed in the status line according to the session displayed in the chart. In this chart (see picture), the session ends at 5h35 pm (the last bar) but the status line continues to display the last trade time and volume until 10:00 pm. This is really weird. If the instrument is configured to end at 5:35 pm on the chart, so should the status line do.
Regards.

Re: Coherence in the status line please
Hello Fabrice,
That is expected behavior for the status line. By default status line shows the realtime information from your data provider. That is possible to use a different mode if you check the "Enable Tracking Mode" check box.
In Tracking Mode, Status Line tracks the position of the mouse pointer. The information is displayed for each series for only the single bar, corresponding to the pointer’s current horizontal position along the time scale. If the mouse pointer is not positioned over the chart, or if the Tracking Mode is not enabled, information displayed is for the series’ entire current trading sessions.

Re: Coherence in the status line please
The option "Enable tracking mode" does not do at all what I mean.
What is logically expected is the following :
- the instrument uses a session beginning at 9 am and closing at 5:35 pm
--> the status line should display
1) the % +/- from the close of yesterday's 5:35 pm
2) the net +/- from the close of yesterday's 5:35 pm
3) the total volume from 9 am to 5:35 pm

Re: Coherence in the status line please
This is something that can be easily coded - probably in the time that you spend in this thread a test version of such an indicator could also have been made.(....)What is logically expected is the following :
- the instrument uses a session beginning at 9 am and closing at 5:35 pm
--> the status line should display
1) the % +/- from the close of yesterday's 5:35 pm
2) the net +/- from the close of yesterday's 5:35 pm
3) the total volume from 9 am to 5:35 pm
In other words, IMHO, if you want such a feature, there are easier/quicker ways to have it than trying to convince MC Support to make it while you wait on it.

Fabrice, you may want to submit a feature request to the Project Management of our web site so other users can vote for it: https://www.multicharts.com/pm/The option "Enable tracking mode" does not do at all what I mean.
