Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm with IB and just started using MC. I have a daily chart in front of me with 365 days of data. The 200 day moving average barely appears. I understand it's because there's only 365 days showing. Is the only way to make it appear by increasing the instrument data range? In this case it would have to be a big range.
Related to the same issue. I use a Bollinger Band squeeze indicator. As long as the indicator appears, considering 365 days, can we assume it has enough daily data to indicate properly?

Hello airbornetrader,
As long as you can see the plot - there is enough bars for indicator calculation. If there is not enough bars - you will see "Calculating..." in the status line of a study.
Please right click on your chart->Format indicators->Format->Properties tab->Max number of bars study will reference:User specified – set it to 200.
