Setting multiple instruments in workspace. [SOLVED]
Setting multiple instruments in workspace.
On occasion I like to review charts quickly having added some trend lines which I would like to look at periodically. I could, of course, create a workspace which has each chart permanently open, however, it would be easier for me just to scroll from one chart to another (with trend-lines saved) by having a button which will simply call the next ticker in a sequence from a defined list e.g. S&P 100, and without having to type the next ticker. Is this possible in Multicharts ? Thanks.

Hello aconnery,
In order to switch between different instruments easily you can add a scanner window to your workspace and link it with the chart/s using the same color.
You can find more information regarding this functionality at these pages:
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... ng_Symbols
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... on_Linking
Drawings applied to an instrument (not to an indicator) will be hidden when you change the instrument to a different one and will be shown again when you return to the instrument they are applied to.

Re: Setting multiple instruments in workspace.
Hello aconnery,
As Henry said, it's possible to do it in MC.
You have to had a new scanner window ( File=> New => Scanner window). You must link this scanner window to your charts ( choose the same linking color)
The result should be similar to the attached file :
