Hello
MC system use to be very stable. Since this morning, chart are very slow to update and MC seem to be frozen. When I try to close it, I got a message "Multicharts64 is not responding"
I did a system check and all seem's OK.
Any idea on what I can do to pin point the problem?

PC rebooted ( turn off, removed power cord)
-Still very slow to update. My data provider is IB. Asked for an 8h charts starting January 2016. Still back filling and not showed after 5 min.
- Did a speedtest with my Internet provider and the download ratio is OK
Closed MC completely and opened a new Workspace. Create a new charts and same problem. Backfilling semm to be hanged.

8h chart?
is this a new symbol?
You should download the one minute data first.
because 8h chart is built on the fly with minute data.
1. make sure IB is giving you one minute data back to Jan 2016
2. MC is probably waiting for empty periods. ie holidays and weekends.
Go to your QuoteManager, you can see the EventLog. Probably you are getting pacing warning.

At the moment I did reload and installed MC latest version. Still installing after nearly 1 hour. Seem stuck in the "backup of user studies"
