Incomplete bars on futures in time delay
Incomplete bars on futures in time delay
Downloading the delayed data from TS, I noticed that historical data is always downloaded correctly, but the delayed data is incomplete. Look for example at the 30 minutes chart of SB before and after the refresh. Since the historical is correct, I would expect the delay data to be correct as well. Is there any solution? Thank you

Re: Incomplete bars on futures in time delay
Hello Leo,
Most likely, it happens because the data delay is shorter than the close bar timeout. You’ll need to adjust CloseBarTimeout in the registry:
1. Close all MultiCharts components and make sure there are no hanging processes in Task Manager -> Details tab -> Description column
2. Launch Registry Editor (regedit.exe). You can find it by typing it into the Windows search bar.
3. Go to this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TS Support\MultiCharts64\Shaper
4. Double-click the CloseBarTimeout key
5. Set Value data to a value that is higher than your data delay (in seconds).
