V3- Establishing connection problems
V3- Establishing connection problems
I successfully upgraded to V3 release and when I create a new chart I get stuck at the Establishing connection. I need to reboot the PC to get past this. I use both eSignal and IB

Hi,
This happens to me also. After waiting for what seems like a long time, I usually just exit the program and restart it. And, poof, the charts load. I have never needed to reboot the computer though. Kinda like it downloads data but doesn't refresh the screen and recompute indicators - just hangs. Then re-starting gives it a little kick.
Sometimes, with prior versions, I got no poof and I had to reboot before the program started loading chart data. I use eSignal for data. yes, it has been connected - i usually start another program to make sure data is downloading and it is. weird, huh. So I guess it is better now.
