Hi,
is it possible to use a data feed like DTN IQ and execute the trades via Interactive Brokers?
Important for me would be the prices on the DOM. Are they coming from the data feed, but if you click on the ladder, the order will go to IB?
Thanks!

Re: Data feed and execution (broker) combo
Hello Timokrates.
In MultiCharts that is possible to use IQfeed data feed to execute the trades via Interactive Brokers.
You need to setup symbol mapping.
General overview at this page.
Here is how to do it:
1) You need to have symbols added both from data feed and broker.
Please add the symbols from the data source:
In the Quote manager go to Instrument tab->Add symbol->From data source-> IQFeed.
Then do the same for IB symbols.
2) To setup the symbol mapping you need to do the following:
Go to File->Broker profiles->Symbol mapping.
Select your broker (IB) from the list. Click Add.
In the left column select the IQfeed data feed symbol.
In the right column select the symbol from the IB broker.
Now orders from IQfeed charts will go to IB broker.
In the DOM window you need to select IB broker and IB symbol.
DOM orders will be sent to the selected broker (IB).

Thanks!
Just to confirm: The price action on the data is based on the data (IQ) feed, but the orders will be routed independent from that to IB?
