Hi,
I was told that MC with WeBank as broker for stocks can send only buy and sell orders with no leverage.
MC can't send buy and sell orders in intraday mode with leverage.
If it is true, it's a big problem because with stocks you can't open short positions.
Please, any italian user could kindly give information about MC behavior with WeBank and italian stocks.
Best Regards
Massimo

Hello Maxmax68,
Short positions should be basically allowed. In fact, it depends on your broker: whether he allows short positions for stocks or not. The leverage should be also controlled by your broker.

Thank you for your kind reply.
In my question I made reference to a specific broker (WeBank) on the shares.
Therefore to provide a correct answer, someone of good will with an account WeBank should try a buy and a sell in intraday to see if MC is able to permit a short intraday with leverage.
Anyway thank you very much for your reply Andrew.
Best regards
Massimo

Re: MC and WeBank: Intraday orders for stocks with leverage
Hi,
today I made some stocks orders from Multicharts to WeBank.
And for what I saw,
it is confirmed that for now MC can operate only with normal buy and sell orders, not leveraged.
Ok, let me explain.
WeBank broker with stocks allows 3 types of buy sell orders.
Buy and Sell (regular, not leveraged),
Buy_Intraday and Sell_Intraday (4x leveraged),
Buy_Overnight and Sell_Overnight (4x leveraged).
MC talks with WeBank with java platform T3 Open.
T3 Open is ready to receive all 3 types o orders,
but unfortunately MC can't. Only regular Buy and Sell orders .
To improve MC programmers should create 2 flag boxes.
One for Intraday and one for Overnight.
So when Intraday box is flagged MC can send to Webank the correct
buy_intraday or sell_intraday orders.
Thanks and regards.
