Hello,
I advance I'm inexperienced with Multicharts, so excuse me for the trivial question.
I'm trying to automate a trading strategy with my IB simulated account, but the order sent by the strategy are rejected because TIF is not specified.
If I try to trade manually the order are executed and I have no problem.
Thanks for the attention and help me, please.
Bye

Re: Automated order rejected-"TIF unspecified" error
Hello ADG88,
As I can see you are using a custom futures instrument. Please add the current futures contract you are going to trade from the data provider:
In QuoteManager please go to Instrument tab->Add symbol->From data source-> IB.
Once the symbol is added please setup the symbol mapping between the custom futures and the current futures contract.

Re: Automated order rejected-"TIF unspecified" error
Hello Henry,
Thank you for your timely reply; but I'm still making some mistake. I've added the futures contract I will trade and setted the "Symbol mapping" between the custum futures and the current futures contract; but it still does not work.
I've also another problem now; I do not understand why in the charts I get lost the intraday data for the last two days only.
I'm sorry for the nuisance and thank you very much.

In the window you have captured on Screenshot5.jpg please manually set the correct expiration date (that you have on Screenshot3.png). Then copy/paste your existing chart.
