I leave the PC turned on 24 hours, quotemanager is always open, a watchlist with all stock and future, but if I receive a title to see the graphs quotemanager is still there, download data. Because if I leave the PC turned on and with quotemanager Watchlist always open? See gif

Hello fibdax,
I'm not sure I'm following you. Please try to rephrase your description.
Please attach the workspace you are using. Specify the exact version and build number of MultiCharts you are running (in MultiCharts go to Help tab-> About).

Re: quotemanager always download data
Thanks for your answer and sorry for the confusion I created:
I'm downloading data from IB in realtime and feeding therefor the quotemanager as you can see from the pics data seem to be saved into the QM. When I want to change a chart on my monitor clicking on a new symbol in the watchlist, the chart reports the "backfilling" action which is fine BUT, during this backfilling I noticed that Quotemaneger seems to download again historical data from IB while those data should already be there, is there a reason for this behavior?
Thanks

Re: quotemanager always download data
Please right click on your IB instrument (for ex. ENEL ) in QuoteManager->Fields to collect. Attach a screenshot of this window.
Right click on this instument again->Edit data. Please load the Day resolution, Trade Quote field-do you have 7000 daily bars in your database? Do you have 45 days of minute data/Trade Quote field?

Re: quotemanager always download data
Our engineers have studied your case based on the provided information.
The data requests could have been caused by the following:
1) reloading charts;
2) plotting a minute during the first 10 seconds (approximately) after opening of a new bar (collect data saves the data into the storage each 10 secs);
3) temporary loss of data feed connection.
Based on the screenshot you have provided we suspect that the data requests were not sent to IB server, the data has been retrieved from the data feed cache.
In case you are still experiencing this behavior – please come to our live chat Monday-Friday 6:30 am - 4 pm EST to demonstrate it remotely and we will collect all required for analysis information. Alternatively we can provide a module with extended logging that should help us to better study this case.
