how to export TS data to ASCII file?

Postby tredur » 03 Sep 2006

Hello everybody,

Here is my problem :

I added a symbol in the QuoteManager Symbol (let's say AAPL) using the data of TS. Then I plotted the chart of AAPL, it worked perfectly. I wanted then to export those data to an ASCII file. So I opened a QuoteManagerSymbol window , right clicked on AAPL and chose export data.
But I cannot export anything. When I try to edit data, I have the same issue. How is it poossible? I tought the data are stored localy, aren't they?
I do not have this issue with the data from IB.

So, is there a way to export the data we download from TS?

Thanks. :)

Dear Tredur,

MultiCharts doesn't store TS data localy because TS does it on their side. But most probably we'll add an option which allows you to save TS data in QuoteManager as well.

Thanks a lot Stanley for your reply.

Now I do understand why I couldn't do it. :)

Do you plan to add this feature in the next version ( or beta)

Thanks again.

I'm not sure that we'll be able to do it in the nearest beta but I'll keep you informed.
