In which format does MultiChart stores data? And what is the file extension, in case it is ASCII.

It is the highly compressed proprietary format.

For the past 3 months you have been a great help.

One method of "converting" the the highly compressed proprietary format into ASCII is by way of (manual) export from QuoteManager to obtain ASCII *.txt files. Is there another way?

Currently you can only export data into ascii files.
