Make Bar Specific Data Readable

Please oh please, finally make this bar specific data pane popup readable. Why do you make it a transparent window???

If you go to 'View' in the top menu bar and deselect 'Transparent hint' (the fifth from the top), the popup gets a solid yellow background:
