Hi,
I'm using MC64 12 17490.
Please see ws file attached to recreate issue. Just start an optim report and then cancel it and view the report. Note this issue exists in MC and PT.
Firstly, the order of metrics is really weird compared to previous versions. "Average bars in loser" featuring ahead of net profit, for example...why?
Is it possible to revert to defaults in previous versions of MC??
Anyway, I go to edit the order of metrics but that then messes up the rounding on my optimised inputs. In fact change anything in the settings and the rounding gets messed up.
Can MC take a look and get it fixed. A hotfix would be great.
Thanks guys!
Edit: If you make edits and then close and reopen the optim report; correct rounding resumes.

Re: Optimization report needs fixing
I'd like the order to be user selectable (drag and drop) to the order we desire, then saved as default.

Agreed.I'd like the order to be user selectable (drag and drop) to the order we desire, then saved as default.
Let’s also start with an order least likely to need editing.
Also with rounding that doesn’t change once an edit has been made.

Here is the default order of the Optimization Report columns:
Yes, you can delete this Windows registry key to reset it to the defaults: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TS Support\MultiCharts64\Optimization Result WindowIs it possible to revert to defaults in previous versions of MC??
We were unable to replicate this behavior on our end. Please provide step by step instructions or capture a video.Anyway, I go to edit the order of metrics but that then messes up the rounding on my optimised inputs. In fact change anything in the settings and the rounding gets messed up.

Hello sptrader,I'd like the order to be user selectable (drag and drop) to the order we desire, then saved as default.
You can change the order of the columns by drag and drop. The last configured order is automatically saved and used by all optimization report windows. In the report window -> Settings -> Columns you can disable the columns that you do not need and save the settings for the subsequent reports by enabling the checkbox "Use as Default" and clicking OK.

Hi Henry,
This is for version MC12 17490.
Very easy to reproduce. You should be able to do so from the pics i've shown you above. It clearly demonstrates the dropping of decimal places.
Anyway.........
Open the attached WS.
Run a brute force optimisation, optimising only "amount": 0-1 , 0.1 increments.
start optimisation, then cancel it.
Now observe "Amount" column displaying various inputs (0-1 in 0.1 increments).
Now go to report setting and make any change you like. E.g. deselect Avg trade.
Now observe how "Amount" only outputs 0 and 1s (we've lost a decimal place for some reason).

Re: Optimization report needs fixing [SOLVED]
wilkinsw, thanks for the clarifications. We will have it fixed in MultiCharts 12 Release 6.
