My quotemanager log keeps showing
TWS message: id=981; errorCode=200; errorMsg=No security definition has been found for the request.
IT shows a number of such lines and keeps repeating them periodically.
My question is, how do i find out which symbol is causing this error ?
This id which is a number doesn't tell me so.
thanks

There should be a line in the log:
Connecting to real-time data for Symbol_Name: TransID= 981
this will show the symbol name, please look up the log.

I noticed it is trying to connect for certain option symbols that have already expired. Strange because in quotemanager the status is offline
I noticed that when i do an edit symbol, the symbol expired on April 27 2006 but under expiration status it is Not expired
One example of such symbol is HSI16800D6

The Expiration Date is not taken into account by tsServer, it still makes requests for already expired symbols. Please don't worry about that.
Why should tsServer continue to make request for already expired symbols ?
It shouldn't !
