Unless I am crazy, Portfolio Backtest sadly has no such XML export option. Has anyone compared if openoffice or excel exports faster? Using ods format, it takes over a half hour on "Writing list of trades sheet..." for around 50k trades (12 years of daily bar portfolio strategy). I am having the same problem exporting to ods. Right after, "Writing Overview by Symbols..." sheet it then says "Failed to save file" in red and then "All Done". Despite having 6g of RAM I have had constant trouble in my portfolio backtester and multicharts running out of memory at around 1.8G.
