Hi 4trading
The only "scary" one is AMP because of the rate of their growth alone. Other than that, I don't see any issues with others.

These are identical charts. Both go back 30 days on the ES. There's obviously a scaling issue, but more importantly, the calculation is done only once on the Point Bar chart. http://www.multicharts.com/discussion/download/file.php?mode=view&id=9331&sid=5462a8e261626164ab0712ec25f0af4c INPUTS: Period...

I'm having an issue.. HighS, LowS, CloseS, and OpenS do not work on tick based charts. Any thoughts? I have a Point bar chart up and the calculation is done from the beginning of the chart to the end.

I never changed anything on my end except for upgrading to 9.1 beta on this machine. The two worked well together before that.
Just checked. Sure enough, after the upgrade, MC was still set to run as Admin, but the Portfolio Trader had lost that setting in the upgrade process.

Escamillo,
I don't believe that your suggestion will work once a strategy is restarted. It doesn't know that the previous position was exited via PT or SL before the restart so the strategy will send out an order to sellshort at value1.

Renko charts do not recognize trading sessions so resting orders are placed 1000s of times a minute when the market closes.
This is a bug.
When the session ends, trading should end as well.

Price IS there regardless if a 'bar' isn't - bars don't define price, price defines the bars. If MC is creating the bars incorrectly, that's an issue to look into. If not, then something is wrong with the order placement in back-tested scenarios which needs to be looked at. I wish I could spend the ...

Yes, Parallels upgrades look unkind to users.
How does your machine perform while doing optimizations or other compute-intensive tasks in MC? I would think that the Mac would have a difficult time keeping up as it has to simultaneously share its resources with two operating systems.
