Leo, I'm having this same exact error. Called Multicharts and their tech support closes at Noon Arizona time! If you have an answer, love to hear it and be able to get back to work.
Commentary end is expected before end of file error
Thanks,
Lew

Re: Alternate editor for Powerlanguage [SOLVED]
Yeah, I think you're right. Just been dreading the learning curve. Haven't done .net in years. Was just talking to my co-worker about that last night. So much more available in the .net version. Thanks for the validation. Powerlanguage is a great tool, but once you get deep into the weeds of complex...

Re: Alternate editor for Powerlanguage [SOLVED]
TJ, dunno how long you've been programming, but I've been doing it for 35 years. It's not that languages are smart, just the opposite. Gotta remember they were written by humans ;) Thanks for the advice, tho. I've found in PowerLanguage that WHERE you place the code is vital as far as updating vars ...

Re: Alternate editor for Powerlanguage [SOLVED]
Well, my two cents would be to add more controls over font size, bolding, italics, colors, etc. But, the function area needs work before that. I'd like to be able to use different font sizes, italics, bold etc. and set my own colors, i.e. have more options in formatting code to separate sections of code, among other things. Tha...

Re: MC single bar trade execution [SOLVED]
Perhaps this only happens on 1 minute bars. I don't think it's a script error, as MC admitted knowing of the issue. They just said it was an "expected behavior". I never got an explanation of what "expected behavior" means. Sounds like "Undocumented Design Feature", (UDF) old programmers joke for a ...

Single bar trade execution [SOLVED]
If a trade totally executes within a single bar, i.e. enters and exits in the same bar, NONE of the normal trade information commands are updated. MarketPosition, entry/exit times/dates, etc. don't receive information about the trade. I contacted MC support about this issue and was told it was not a...
