Re: CAC 40 CUSTOM FUTUR
Hi You first need to check the expiration rule of the future contract (Edit Symbol). For CAC it should be by default "3rdFriday". Then edit the custom future and define the Rollover Condition there. I think you want to have Time: 1 Trading Days Prior to Expiration Date. I personally use Event: 1 Day...

Re: CQG Data
Yes, I have big gaps in the data for Aug 28. These problems are unfortunately so frequent with CQG.

Re: Seeking feedback - CQG vs Rithmic [SOLVED]
Since MC has stabilized and internalized its connection to CQG, I have had virtually no issues. Rithmic has also been great, just saying that CQG interacting with MC is better than it was Well... as of today end of business day, there are historical backfill that are not fixed for some markets. Hav...

Seeking feedback - CQG vs Rithmic [SOLVED]
I currently use Multicharts64 with CQG as data feed, my broker is AMP. Given the recent problems with MC/CQG (in April and again today with no historical backfill), I am thinking of switching to Rithmic data feed. Anyone tried both, and can tell which one they prefer? Appears to me that technical is...

Re: ATTENTION CQG USERS [SOLVED]
Henry,We can confirm that the issue has been resolved.
There is no historical backfill on the CAC futures (PILK15) - no data for April 13 and partial for April 14. Have relaunched the updater and reloaded all data, can you advise what else to do?
Thanks.

Re: security definition and custom futures
Thanks Andrew. I have the MultiCharts64 Version 8.8 Release (Build 9189), I think it's the latest. In fact I managed to solve the problem by starting MC in administrator mode. It then worked ok... I closed the software and re-opened it in normal mode this time (not as administrator) and it is workin...

security definition and custom futures
Last friday I created a custom futures symbol (@EP) for a continuous e-mini SP500 and managed to load the data and plot the chart. Today however, the symbol created cannot connect and I get this message in QM "no security definition has been found: Symbol = @EP". I may have done something between fr...
