We were running 33 autotrading workspaces overnight last night, split up between two instances of MC running. The worksapces were trading approicmately 25 different Futures symbols. The few duplicated symbols in this group were trading against separate accounts. We experienced an MC app crash at around 7 AM ET today. This also affected the datafeed and trade execution on the other instance, which was still up and running at the time of the crash and afterwards.
Both instances were running with a CQG data feed, using the CQG trade execution platform. The MC instances were both running under MultiCharts64 Version 9.1 Release (Build 12587).
Is there a practical limit to the number of simulateous autotrading workspaces we can run in MC?
Thanks!

Re: MC App Crash in Autotrading Multiple Workspaces
Hello eegroup,
There is no MultiCharts limitation for the amount of charts you can have open/auto trading.
You can have as many charts as your hardware allows. This value is individual and depends on the amount and complexity of the indicators/strategies you are using, amount of auto trading charts, amount of bars on the chart, whether you are running Playback or backtesting or optimization or not.
So the only way to know that is to set it up and check the memory/CPU usage of your PC.
Which exact process has crashed? Have you saved the crash report or sent it to us?
