Hi All,
I'm running Multicharts from a VPS (virtual private server) so its running 24/7 and I checked my server and its just stopped collecting data! Autotrade is still enabled but no data is coming through and hence no trades are being taken.
The only way I can fix this is to reboot my server. But more importantly why has this happened? This is the third time this has happened.
Anyone else experienced this issue?

This is a different issue. Data disconnects vs Broker disconnects.
both are an issue with MB lately... The data disconnects that you're posting about scare me more than the broker disconnects.

t-rader, the information you have provided is not sufficient for analysis.
In order to investigate the issue please provide additional information:
1) What exact version and build number of MultiCharts are you running? (in MultiCharts go to Help tab-> About)
2) Which data provider do you use?
3) What is the version of the data provider application you are running ?
4) MultiCharts logs (if you have not restarted the platform ater the issue appeared. Logs from the previous run are erased when you start MC).
In MultiCharts 8.0 Release Candidate go to Help->Feedback->Send logs. Please let me know that you have uploaded the logs.

5) If it is MBTrading then also send me MBT logs from Start->Run-> %userprofile%\AppData\roaming\MBTrading\LOGS\

I have this data disconnect issue as well.
On one computer I run whatever current release you have and on another computer I run whatever beta you have. Currently 8.5 release candidate on both. The issue has happened with all past and current versions.
I've sent my logs in on a regular basis lately.
Restarting MC every day just after 5pm EST has really helped this issue, but not fixed it. There's been a few days where it could have been disastrous.

Wow....this is simply disasterous for 24x7 auto-traders.
This must be made a high priority fix.
Error messages need to be thrown when this occurs at the mininal.
For this to occur silently: DEADLY.

All of the users who have such type of the problem (MBT datafeed stops) are asked to provide the information as described in post #4 of this thread.

The datafeed issues have been much better since I've been restarting the platform after the close of the day. Every day I restart the platform at 5:30pm EST. (annoying, but has reduced the issue a lot)

We are already working with MBT on the issue. MBT is unable to replicate the problem anymore.I've missed some nice winning trades because of this issue.
Could MC please work with MBT to find a fix for this issue as soon as possible.
In order to help MBT trace the issue I need to have all of the information required for analysis as it was described above
