Hello,
just want to double check is there any difference if start running/using MultiCharts in "run as administrator" mode. I see that if I start MC in admin mode I have probably run other components (Quote Manager and etc.) in admin mode as well, otherwise it gives error. Is there any disadvantage or problems at all if I keep using all MC components as admin?
Reason why I`m asking : Diamond Backtesting and WF Manager released 64bit dll, so , we can use it with MCx64 now, but programs communicate between themselves only if I run them in admin mode.
Thank you
MC8x64 in admin mode

Re: MC8x64 in admin mode
Hello DRCM,
There should be no downsides in running MultiCharts as administrator.
If you run MultiCharts as administrator-you need to run all other MultiCharts products as administrator too (i.e. MC, Quote Manager, PL editor, ....) in order the software to function properly.
Make a right click on the application icon->select Properties-> Compatibility tab-> check Run this program as an administrator.
