Re: Range Charts
Hello Wegi,
- The equivalent of “Range” bars in TS are “Point” bars in MultiCharts, however they are not build exactly the same way as in TS. To learn how the point bars are constructed in MultiCharts, please see this document.
- We also have such chart resolution as “Point Original”. It is not available in chart settings, but it is possible to change chart resolution through command line in MC. Unfortunately I was not able to find any information in our documentation in regards to whether this resolution is 100% identical to TS Range bars. “Point Original” bars differ from “Point” bars in MC: The bar closes when the following condition is met: modulus |Open*PriceScale - Close*PriceScale| >= chart resolution (a tick is not split, it is completely included in the bar, even if the prices difference exceeds the chart resolution.

Re: Range Charts
When you have your chart up, put for example "20 point(original)" in the Command Line and hit Enter key.Interesting...
Andrew, would you mind describing how we may setup our charts with "point original" bars?
