Hi,
I can't see Supertrend in the study. Please, do someone have the code for powerlanguage and powerlanguage.NET?
Many thanks in advance!
Filippo

Re: Supertrend [SOLVED]
Hello Filippo,
Super Trend indicator is not in the list of pre-built studies in MultiCharts.
However, you can find Super Trend for .NET version here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=47088&p=107760&hil ... nd#p107760 and Super Trend PowerLanguage version is attached.

Re: Supertrend
Hi Alex,
many thanks for your quick answer!
I tried to add the indicator in Multicharts, but while Supertrend indicator is working, the Supertrend is not working. The compiling returns some errors.
Please, may you help me?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Alex,
sorry for my english.
As you can see in the attached files, graphs seem slightly different . Your looks more rounded , smooth for having set the same values .
Thanks

Hi Filippo
Email Chris at >info@abctradinggroup.com< as he has programmed for me (for a very reasonable fee) many instances which requires coloring background,If it can be done then he will be more than capable of programming it

Please open the scripts of the indicators that I have sent and the script of the indicator you are comparing with and execute the changes you want.
Re: Supertrend
Technically no, but visually it is possible. Not at all ideal though. The old trick of plotting a thick histogram as the background and replotting the candles with another indicator would visually do the trick, but it would be ugly, clunky, and slow down your platform.That's not possible in MultiCharts.can it color the BG when trend changes

Re: Supertrend
Coloring the background with transparent colors (filing in colors between averages etc), is a feature that is needed in MC. It has been suggested many times..Coloring the background different colors for each session,for example, is a great use for this feature...
NT and others have had this feature for years...

Re: Supertrend
@Fillippo
I have a version of SuperTrend available here that may be closer to what you are looking for.
It has the flat areas when price is retracing toward the indicator.

BS ... both. Just try following easy and very memory insignificant setup. Nothing gets ugly, clunky and slows down the setup.Technically no, but visually it is possible. Not at all ideal though. Code: Select all
input : PosColor(green), NegColor(red);
var : var1_upvalue(999999),
var2_dnvalue(-999999),
var3_color(0);
if c >= averagefc(c, 21) then
begin
var3_color = PosColor;
end
else
var3_color = NegColor;
Plot1 (var1_upvalue, "top", var3_color);
Plot2 (var2_dnvalue, "bot", var3_color);
Have a nice weekend.
