AvgBarsWinTrade
I understand this is just for signals, and would never work in "SA" applied automation since in that case there are no historical signals on the chart. Is there a work around so that this number would be available in automation setting?

Re: AvgBarsWinTrade
Do you want this number to be available in the settings of the strategy (the 'Strategy Properties' window), or do you mean with 'automation setting' that you want to use it as a setting for an automated signal (a signal's input)? Is there a work around so that this number would be available in automation setting?
Perhaps there's even a third interpretation, since 'making a number available' can also mean that you want to read it from the screen (and not change it).

Re: AvgBarsWinTrade
Hi Josh -
I would like to use the value as a part of a time based exit in a signal.
This is an interesting reserve word that is only calculated when there are strategy signals on the chart:
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... rsWinTrade
When "SA" automation occurs, as we know, there are no historical signals shown.
So avgbarswintrade may only be available in "AA" automation, or if you were to write the value to a spreadsheet and then have it read when the strategy is in "SA".
Any other thoughts?
