MultiCharts Version 9.0 Release (Build 11213)
[Daily data]
[Minute data]
As you can see in the charts starting with adj. data from contract DBU15, MC does not recognize data for contract DBM15. I checked and tested data for U15 & M15 and both data seem to be very consistent and 'correct'.
Trying to 're-calculate' the data i can see that the QuoteManager is referring for DBU15 for the whole history. Further question is, why the QuoteManager trying to pull data for a timeframe I'm not asking to show me (plotting a chart for 400 days is pulling data back to 2002) ... Wow
Thank you.
Ben

Henry ...
thank you for your answer. Timezone is European Central Time or EUREX for the symbol.
Workspace >> http://ul.to/rptgaubc (133KB)
QMD Export >> http://ul.to/xbxvj7oo (358.840KB)
I hope to get this fixed as I need the Data correct for calculations/studies.
Thank you.

Re: MC does not recognize contract data on 'Custom Future'
Hello bensat,
Our engineers have studied your case. The data is missing due to incorrect expiration rule for the DB root in your CQG symbol dictionary.
Please close the charts with this custom futures and set the expiration rule according to the attached screenshot:
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... or_Futures
Once that is done you can open the charts you were using.
We will have the prebuilt symbol dictionary updated in the next version of MultiCharts. It will be applied to the new installations only.

Henry,
many thanks for your attention and help. I had to set up a new 'Expiration Rule' and changed the settings in the 'Symbol' ... Looking good for now.
Thank you again.
Regards.

Daily data can be requested to determine rollover points. In order to minimize the data requests when using a custom futures instrument please use "Days Back" or "From - To" Data Range type.Further question is, why the QuoteManager trying to pull data for a timeframe I'm not asking to show me (plotting a chart for 400 days is pulling data back to 2002) ...
