Our users are reporting that their MC User IDs are changing after the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition Update has been been updated on their systems.
Since all of our MC scripts are tied to our users' MC User IDs, obviously this means a script change in order for our software to be continually usuable on their respective upgraded Windows 10 systems.
Will we see this in MultiCharts as a regular occurrence (changing MC User IDs), when Windows 10 updates are posted?
Thanks!

Re: MC User ID Changes - Windows 10 Anniversary Edition Upda [SOLVED]
Hi,
User ID is given to each computer automatically according to computer's hardware when you install MultiCharts. User ID might change within major upgrades of operating system.
Please use GetUserName keyword to use clients' registration name instead of UserID. Please note that this will work for registered users that have MultiCharts license or subscription.
For trial users you will still need to use GetUserID and change it if they update their system and UserID changes.

Re: MC User ID Changes - Windows 10 Anniversary Edition Upda
Hi Kristina,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, we do obtain both the MC User ID and Registration Name to authenticate a user using the scripts.
Hopefully, the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition is considered a major OS upgrade and the User ID will not change that frequently when more normal Windows 10 updates get posted to the users' systems.
Thanks again for your help, assistance and response.
