the continual upgrading of TS with errors like this is why i bought multicharts to get away from the stupidity of TS.
i am not happy that multicharts continually is checking digital rights it just reminds me i am renting this program and not really owning it.
tell me why this so called upgrade will not just simply install and run? the old version of multicharts opens and runs just fine.

Please re download the installation file, and also disable any Antivirus software that might interfere with the installation.

is it possible to run multi charts without being connected to the internet? how long will the program run without being connected?

I tend to uninstall the 'old' version first w/o deleting the data/strategies etc. After that I run the installation file as 'Administrator' and all is fine ... Never had a problem ...

First of all sorry to hear that Mark.
You already used a LiveChat session with the help desk ? Is it Win7x64/WS2008R2 ? Antivir is off ? What permissions your user has for the TEMP/TMP folders ? Where is your TEMP/TMP folder ? Any changes made environmentally in the past ?
That's how I would start ...
