Hello
I would like to test the new MC7, but I understand the it is still in a beta phase. I got few questions before upgrading to MC7. After some bad experience with new software versions, and have working hard to have a stable system with MC6, I just don't want to jeopardize it for the purpose of testing a new version.
But still I know that I should learn the new DOM concept in MC7, as soon as possible.
- Can i have both MC 6 and MC 7 in my system?.
- Can I study the new version while still working with MC6
- Can I work with them at the same time ( both open).
- Do they share the same start icon.
- Anything else I should be aware before installing it?
Any input truly appreciated
Martin

I asked the same thing a while ago. You cannot have both versions on the same computer. You can have MC6 on one computer and MC7 on another computer.Hello

Hi escamillo,
Doesn`t it mean that you`ve got to have two licenses? As I understand if you pay for one license you can run it only on one pc at time, isn`t it? I guess both versions can`t be used at the same time on two different PCs. would be nice to hear more info about it from MultiCharts guys. I`m interested as well.
Thanks
