Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to optimize the process for creating continuous future contracts with eSignal.
Let's take the example of ET, Euro Stoxx 50 (for which eSignal does not provide ET #F).
In QuoteManager, I have created an "ET" root.
Then, in QuoteManager, I have manually added the 24 following symbols back to 2006:
* 1 symbol: "ET Z1-DT" for current contract.
* 23 symbols: "ET U2011-DT" back to "ET H2006-DT" for expired contracts (in eSignal, the format for expired contracts is different than the format of current contract)
Then, I have created the related Custom Future.
It is working fine!
My question: is it possible to avoid to manually enter the 24 symbols for individual contracts? Could this be "automatized" in a way? Could MultiCharts know the format of eSignal expired contracts?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Yours sincerely,
Nicolas

Hello Nicolas.
Unfortunately that is not possible.
You need to add the historical symbols manually.
