Hi.
i am using 7.1.4695.201 version of QM.
i had no problem backing up my data bases from QM using Export
until i updated MC about a month ago.
Now when i Export data bases from QM,
i have strangely heavy-weighted file.
before update it was only about 5MB, and it's now 35MB.
And the worse is that, it even have no datas in it.
When i import datas from that file, there's no data imported.
i am manually backing up my data with ascii format now.
ascii works well.
What's wrong here?

I just copy the folder (nightly) where the database is stored and keep it as a backup. No export of data is needed..only takes a minute or so to make a copy of it.

Please let me know what version of MultiCharts you were using before the update.
Describe step by step how the symbol export from Quote Manager is done, what settings you select.
Please upload the exported QMD file to any file sharing hosting and provide the link so that we can download it for analysis.
