Quote Manager or some form of data management
1, Ability to delete individual symbols either expired contracts, entry error, etc... without necessitating deletion of entire database.
Per MC tech support: Unfortunately there is no way to delete these instruments.
It is possible to delete the complete databases folder and start from scratch by doing a repair of MC IB.
Folder located in C:\ProgramData\TS Support\MultiCharts .NET64 for TWS\Databases
2, Ability to add multiple instruments at once [building watch lists]
a, IMPORT/EXPORT similar to MC64 i.e. [user created lists "excel", csv, etc...]
b, Import from previously exported file.
c, "Copy" multiple symbols from TWS and "paste" into watchlist
Currently must enter individually, or link a MC-IB chart to a TWS list then select each instrument one at a time to load chart (which builds database).
3, Adding instruments directly in MC-IB, same search results as MC64 i.e.
a, When Adding instrument in MC64, search/underlying = list of all available instruments, ie. GC: GCj4, GCm4, GCq4, GCv4, GCz4, etc... [multiple contracts can be selected and added at once]
b, When Adding instrument in MC.net-IB, search/underlying = TWS method of month/year selection [only one instrument can be added per search] = PIA
[edit: in IB the "all" option exists] ofc without ability to edit/delete adding all can also get messy]
Thank you for your consideration

Re: MC.net-IB - Beta Feature request: Data Management
Hello hwkaiser,
Thank you for your feedback.
MultiCharts (.NET) and MultiCharts (.NET) for TWS are separate products designed for different goals.
The functionality you are requesting is present in MultiCharts (.NET).
MultiCharts (.NET) for TWS is a simple and handy product that does not have the flexibility inherent to MultiCharts (.NET)

Re: MC.net-IB - Beta Feature request: Data Management
Hi Henry,
I am aware of the separation of products. However, as MC-IB is still in beta I thought it prudent to request at the minimum either:
A, a method to purge obsolete symbols.
B, an option in menu bar to perform the database deletion/purge
Drilling down the C: drive to locate a folder, delete and then require an installation "repair" imho is fair workaround in the interim, but far from optimal. A more user friendly approach is needed.
Granted, MC.net-IB doesn't require full functionality, but it shouldn't be crippled to the extent user's need manipulate the operating files either.
Hence, my "Feature Request"
Thank you for your attention to my inquiry
