Forex Charts

Charting is one of the most important aspects of Forex trading software. Unlike other markets, Forex currency pairs tend to move fast, and your charting software needs to keep up. More so, it needs to be reliable, so you can trust that what you see is the accurate real-world picture. Finally, your Forex charts need to be flexible, so you can easily pick out the necessary information. MCFX provides all of these things, and more.

Flexibility is vital

Forex charts demand close attention; that’s why you can customize MCFX from the overall appearance to the tiny details. You can also plot different symbols and in different resolutions—all on the same chart.

Working with several data series
In MCFX it’s very easy to work with multiple data series—simply add them onto the chart. The symbol, or instrument, at the top is the tradable symbol, while you can use others for supporting information. You can even mix different resolutions on the same chart, for example 233 ticks and five-minute symbols. MCFX will align them automatically, so you can easily analyze short- and long-term trends.

Behind-the-scenes calculations for multiple data series
This feature allows you to create indicators or strategies that use several symbols for calculations. For example, you could use Bollinger Bands on a one-minute chart, but it will be calculated based on daily data. Simply reference “data2,” “data3,” etc. on your custom indicator or strategy.

Use up to 20 subcharts per chart
You can create 20+ subcharts per chart, which allows for complete analysis of the big picture. In addition, you can use bid and ask data to get a sense of what realistic fill prices are.

Charts that you can trust

In MCFX, you can be sure you are seeing the correct market data because the data is streamed from our secure servers. You can spend your time performing technical analysis, as opposed to worrying about software issues.

Friendly user interface

What sets MCFX apart from conventional Forex charting software is its innovative object-oriented user interface. Simply click on whatever you want to change, and look for a context-sensitive menu. As a result, you get an intuitive, easy-to-use application, which dramatically reduces your learning curve.

See the complete picture with more resolutions

Standard chart resolutions include both time-based and count-based options. Time-based choices include anything from seconds to years. Count-based options include tick and point charts. The resolutions are very flexible—for example, you could have bars made up of 14 ticks, 89 seconds, 31 minutes, or 17 hours.
