1. You can click and enter an order in the DOM, but the order does not appear properly in the DOM. See Temp1.png.
2. The order then executes! And does not show in the DOM properly, moreover the automated strategy is not applied.
Using:
TWS Build 932.4 Nov 1, 2012
Java Version 1.7.0_09
MultiCharts.NET64 v8.5 Beta 2 Build 6526
Settings in TWS are:

Is this a known problem? Have I configured everything correctly? Thanks in advance.

Re: Interactive Brokers - MultiCharts DOM Not Working?
Hello Turing,
Most likely symbol mapping is not set up correctly. I recommend you to reset it manually as it is described in the bottom of this instruction. Before doing this, please make sure the symbol is added from data source (re-add it).

Re: Interactive Brokers - MultiCharts DOM Not Working?
Andrew,
Many thanks for the quick response. The solution worked. But it broke something else that was working fine before.
One of the primary advantages of MC over other products is the ability to handle two brokers out of the box. I have two brokers. Now the Multicharts DOM that has Open E Cry (OEC) as the broker, is exhibiting the problem that Interactive Brokers (IB) had i.e. You can click and enter an order in the DOM, but the order does not appear properly in the DOM. The order then executes. And does not show in the DOM properly, moreover the automated strategy is now not applied in OEC.
I have symbol mapping as follows:
OEC
Chart Symbol: ESH3; Futures; CME; Open E Cry
Maps to
Broker Symbol: ESH3; Futures; CME; Open E Cry
IB
Chart Symbol: ESH3; Futures; GLOBEX; Interactive Brokers
Maps to
Broker Symbol: ESH3; Futures; GLOBEX; Interactive Brokers
Sorry if I missed something in the instructions. Thanks in advance.

We will test it on our end and i'll let you know.
The solution would be to delete the problematic OEC broker profile and recreate it. Before doing this, please make sure the OEC symbols are added in QuoteManager from data source though symbol lookup.
