My MC crashed.
So I rebooted the computer and reloaded MC.
I only track 2 items -- ES and YM.
The reboot took about 10 minutes, so my missing data would be 10 minutes the most.
The YM 1min chart came up quickly, but nothing else.
So I went to see the QM log.
Lo and behold I was getting Pacing Violation.
WHY ?
Why do I get pacing violation ? [SOLVED]
After a crash is the only time I would ever expect to see a pacing violation. MC should always keep track of how many historical bars it has requested over the last xx minutes and not request more when it would cause a violation.
The one time MC has no way of knowing how many bars it has requested is after a crash (it may have had what it was allowed before the crash).
