Hi,
I'm purchasing MC now. Before I do, why is MC 64 $1,500 & MC.Net $1,000?
Thanks,
Eric

Hello Eric,
The price of MC .NET is not related to less features comparing to regular MultiCharts. MC .NET price simply allows it to be the most competitive on .NET compatible platforms market. The product is recently launched, thus the lower price. The price may rise in the future.
All features in the two versions are exactly the same except for the programming language. In regular MC studies are written in PowerLanguage (compatible with Easy Language), while MC .NET is compatible with C# and VB .NET. Easy Language cannot be used in MC .NET.

Thanks Dave,
I had read the sticky thread at the top - Comparison List - and do feel .Net is superior... but found it odd that MC would cannibalize sales of their flagship, however, I'll chalk it up to promotional and competitive pricing only!
Glad to be a part of this new world,
Eric
