Re: charging times
What is the data provider, what is the chart interval and how many days are you trying to load?

Re: charging times
That shouldn't take long (eigentlich sollte es ruck zuck gehen ).
How long does it take for the charts to come up? You can post the workspace here and I check it on my end.

Re: charging times
I've used IQfeed for a few years now and it is VERY fast and accurate with MC, something must be setup wrong...shouldn't take more than 30 sec to load anything..

Re: charging times
IQFeed has a limitation for amount of provided historical data:
Tick data- 8 calendar days within session hours, 160 days in non-session hours,
Minute data– up to 6 years (@ES# ~4.5 year)- only TRADE data,
Daily data – since 1901 (@ES# ~13 years), (INDU.X since 1928 year)
Please make sure that in Quote manager->Tools->Data sources->IQFeed->Settings->the option "build minute and daily bars from tick data" is unchecked.
To make this setting come into effect you need to restart MultiCharts and all of its applications.
After the option has been changed you need to reload your charts.
