I placed a GTC Stoploss order Sunday night on a 24hr traded Futures Oil contract. The Stoploss didn't trigger at the stop price during the evening/early morning session but rather at exactly 6:30 Monday Morning.
Instrument: Futures Oil contact; CLU5
Chart Res: 5min
Season: Default. QM is set to "Use Symbol Dictionary Session" Sunday- Friday ~24hr.
Order: Stop Loss order: 46.74 GTC. Got executed at 6:30am at 46.04
Broke Setting: Broke is IB. "Use Outside RTH tag for orders" is UNCHECKED. This setting is for Stocks only so it shouldn't effect futures.
MC: 9.1 Beta
I need to know what caused this so that it doesn't happen again. Lost money

Re: 9.1 Beta: Stop Loss Executed at Market Open Incorrectly
Hello StefanoSF,
MultiCharts is not directly involved into the process of filling the order and determining the time and price to fill. Once the order is generated in MultiCharts with certain parameters – it is sent to the broker. The broker processes the order and fills it or rejects it. The broker is in charge of order execution price, time and order status report.
MultiCharts waits for the order status from the broker and periodically asks the broker how is this order doing. If any modification or cancel command is generated by the code in MultiCharts – it is sent to the broker.
The broker is the one that should address the question regarding the order execution.
