When MC is running, the hard disk is continuously active.
I have tested the disks and no errors are reported.
I have 6gig of ram and I thought that MC cached data avoiding the requirement to write to disk continuously.
In addition, I have had problems exporting instruments and received an error message that temp files cannot be accessed.
Any ideas as to what the issue might be. I have run a virus check and no issues were reported.

jl12,
"I have 6gig of ram and I thought that MC cached data avoiding the requirement to write to disk continuously."
It is not possible to avoid adressing hard drive. Regarding temp files errors, please tell us what is your OS as well as language and local system settings. If you are able to reproduce the issue, please come to our Live Chat Mon-Fri between 6:30AM and 2PM EST for investigation.
