Hello MC Team - During the indicator development - there is a need to copy an existing indicator to another copy. However in PL Editor - when an indicator is built with "save as" - it doesn't copy the original indicator preferences. This would waste lot of time - configuring the new indicator.
Just wondering if there are any options in PL Editor to make an exact replica of the indicator along with preferences.
Thanks.

What study preferences do you refer to?
Entries and exits style tabs?

Re: Indicator preferences are not preserved when copied
I think he means the plot styles, line widths, colours, etc. from the Properties screen. Those are missing when I "Save as" an indicator, which makes "Save as" just a copy-paste, since only the code is kept and not the indicator settings. It would be great if this can be changed in a future version. What study preferences do you refer to?

Thanks Josh.
Henry - Yes I meant Study preferences like plot styles/types/Panel(same as price series or not) etc. At present - When a copy is made - I would have to redo everything one more time in the new study.
You can also consider this for "signals" as well.
Thanks.

There is no such feature at the moment. You may want to submit a feature request to the Project Management of our web site so other users can vote for it: https://www.multicharts.com/pm/
