When i open a workspace, MC (V8 beta 1 build 5091) is able to connect to IB for some symbols only (see picture joined)! TWS seems correct.
When i launch MC, TWS is already running. And, when i open the workspace, the TWS's logon windows appears! I cancelled because i'm already connected.
What's the problem ?
Establishing connection.....for some symbols only.

Re: Establishing connection.....for some symbols only.
Please make a right click on the chart->Format instrument.
Make sure the proper instrument is selected and "Merging" is disabled->Click Ok.
Can the chart be loaded now?

All is right for the instrument.
Another information : the SA button is green on the other chart but any order is sent to the TWS plateform !!!
I have restarted my computer and launched again MC and TWS. Then, i had an alert which inform me than another MC was already connected ! It was of course false.
I accepted to disconnect it and then all is becoming correct.

That means that your previous session was terminated incorrectly. You need to click Ok and the software will start properly. Then, i had an alert which inform me than another MC was already connected ! It was of course false.

Hi Henry,
I tried again. I had turned off my computer and restarted it. The same problem appears.
Lets have a look to the pictures to understand it.
Fisrt of all, i started TWS and then i started MC. I obtain the img3.
I filled my login and i obtained the img4.
I clicked "OK" and i saw the picture img5 and two TWS was launched img6. Again, the img7 on which i clicked ok.
Finally, any data was receveid from TWS in MC !

Re: Establishing connection.....for some symbols only.
I was talking about MultiCharts message, and you are referring to TWS message.
In order to avoid this issue please go to Quote manager->Tools->Data sources->IB->Settings.
Disable the option "Launch TWS at start". Make sure the port corresponds to the port specified in TWS->Configure->API->Settings.
You will need to start TWS manually prior to starting MultiCharts. In this case there should be no issues with duplicated connectivity.
