Hi,
I have Data1 and Data2 as one instrument on 2 different time periods. But I want my strategy to trade a different instrument. So Data1 and Data2 give me signals to autotrade Data3.
Example 1 (just for illustrative purposes):
Data1: BAC 30 Minute
Data2: SPY 30 minute
Data3: FAZ: 30 minute (FAZ is the instrument I want to trade).
Example 2:
Data1: SPY
Data2: US Dollar Index (Ice Future)
Data3: SSO (SSO is the instrument I want to trade)
Is there a way to issue Buy , Sell and BuyToCover commands on a different data series (data3)?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Graphing one instrument on a graph and autotrading anoth
I thought one could only submit orders for the primary data series. (I couldn't find an actual source for this, but this wiki article suggest as much in the examples).
So you probably need to go from..
Data1: BAC 30 Minute
Data2: SPY 30 minute
Data3: FAZ: 30 minute (FAZ is the instrument I want to trade).
to..
Data1: FAZ: 30 minute (FAZ is the instrument I want to trade).
Data2: BAC 30 Minute
Data3: SPY 30 minute
So you probably need to go from..
Data1: BAC 30 Minute
Data2: SPY 30 minute
Data3: FAZ: 30 minute (FAZ is the instrument I want to trade).
to..
Data1: FAZ: 30 minute (FAZ is the instrument I want to trade).
Data2: BAC 30 Minute
Data3: SPY 30 minute

In MultiCharts that is possible to send orders only from the data series #1.
